Five phases. No shortcuts.

Commissioning a Edge Engineering build is closer to commissioning a piece of work than ordering a car. The process is deliberate. The pace is honest.

Inquiry

Begin with an application. We review every commission against capacity, fit, and intent. We accept a small number of new clients each year.

An in-person or remote conversation. We discuss the vehicle, the use case, the references, and the constraints. No quote yet — just understanding.

A written brief. Every system is mapped: drivetrain, chassis, body, interior, finish. The document becomes the contract.

Twelve to thirty months in the atelier. Single lead builder per commission. Monthly reports with photographs and progress notes.

Shakedown, calibration, and a private handover. The car arrives with a full file: photographs, drawings, and a record of every part.
